Timothy Ang is a lecturer at Kansai University and various institutions around Osaka, Japan.

He spent his formative years living in America. After finishing his Bachelors in Business at the George Washington University he eventually moved to Japan. He has a Masters in Teaching English as a foreign language (TEFL) with a focus in Bilingual Education from the University of Alcala.

He believes his role as a teacher is to assist each student in developing their own potential. He fosters critical thinking, culture exchange, and language learning through conversation and task-based activities.

His research focus is on Student Motivation, Data Science, Japanese Studies, Media Theory, Technology for the Classroom and Curriculum Development.

He travels, reads, watches movies, writes and drinks coffee during his down time.
